What have we been up to

With things a bit quiet of late, here are a few of the more exciting projects (that we can actually talk about) that we have been up to over the last few months.

The upper fairing brackets on Gavin's Honda VFR750 FH RC24 had been earmarked for replacement for a long time now. The plan was to turn some nylon bar, making some light weight standoffs to replace the alloy ones that were currently in use. This would only make things look better however and he wanted a camera mount too why not kill two birds with one stone?
A little while with a rule and sat in front of the computer later and we had this.
The Go-pro type camera mount is bolted on through the two holes on the plate, something we hope to integrate in the future but this worked a treat as it was. Once you have had a read, check out the video below to enjoy this little bracket in action.

Cutlery drawers are a pain to keep tidy if you don't have a nice divider. The race vans cutlery drawer was not of a standard size so any cutlery organiser bought off the shelf will either not go in at all or not make use of the space available efficiently. This will not do.
Cue spending hours carefully measuring and reorganising till rough design was figured out with the parts available, then printing out what is essentially grown up lego.
The build parts were designed by Wbu42 and shared on Thingiverse if you fancy making your own version at home.
It takes a surprisingly long time to print compring many parts but the end result was totally worth it especially in this snazzy transparent PETg filament.

Plastic bung missing in the end of your footpeg?
Don't fancy cooky cutting holes in your legs if you fall off?
Well get a replacement pair in the colour of your choice. Printed in tough PETg they are strong enough for the track but being hollow they are also very light weight. These are designed for the finest quality eBay special footpegs you have probably gone and bought (hence why the end fell off, I feel your pain). These will be available soon!
